Credit Valuation (or Value) Adjustment (CVA)

The difference between a portfolio valued without counterparty risk taken into account, and a portfolio valued with counterparty credit risk taken into account. This is roughly calculated as (Expected Positive Exposure)*(Counterparty Default Probability)* (Counterparty Loss-Given-Default).
